Our entry level racing engine. Great for minibikes and backyard karts looking for a little more power and speed over the stock governed engines. You can expect 9HP and 5500 RPM. Stock Ducar/Tillotson flywheels are tested to 10k RPM (in very short intervals). Any additional modifications should begin with a performance flywheel
- Governor gear & external linkage completely removed
- Performance air flter adapter
- Performance high flow air filter
- Performance jetted carburetor
- 8 Degree timing advance key installed
Caution!!!! These engines are shipped with NO OIL. We recommend a high quality oil designed for splash oil systems such as Amsoil Small Engine Oil to provide better protection. Always keep at least 16oz of oil in the engine while in use.
We recommend using Amsoil Break In Oil for engine break in
