Flywheel Tin/ Shroud For 196-212 Tillotson/ Honda Clone EC Shroud/Tin, "Rear Leading Cover" Lower, GX200,Tillotson 212, Honda Clones EC 5mm Lightweight Clone Lash Cap  (Sold as a Pair)
The 138190041 Clone Flywheel Shroud Is A Sheet Metal Connecting The Block And Flywheel Blower Housing.
Many clone engines have electric starter options, So the blower housing and flywheel fan shroud are made into two separate pieces. the two pieces make it easier to make different models without creating two different blower housings or multiple blocks.
The other purpose of the flywheel shroud is to prevent moving air from escaping at the blocks front. the air pushing by the flywheel fan is guided to the jug and underneath the block. Or, in cases of the new Tillotson Reinforced blocks, The Flywheel Shroud is integrated into the block for added rigidity.
The Sheetmetal Flywheel Shroud is OE on the older Tillotson 196R and 212R Engines but can be used on the other 196cc 6.5hp Clone, Honda GX200, Ducar 196, Ducar/Tillotson 212E, Predator 212, and BSP 196 and 212 R Engines.
The Rear Air Leading Cover ( Shroud/Tin) covers the rear of the blower housing and Cylinder jug to guide air from the flywheel to the cylinder. Fits Honda 212 Clones.

The 335 has a big duration with lower lift so it can be used in large cubic inch OHV engines where valve to piston clearances are minimal. This cam is very aggressive and requires an upgraded spring package, billet rod, and billet flywheel.
The Lobes on this Cam are Welded.

The 224cc camshafts have .550" main journal size. The cams have been clearanced between the lobes and feature narrow lobes. These modification allow for rod clearance due to the 58mm stroke. The compression release is also thinner to clear the 58mm crank counter weight. These camshafts work with Harbor Freight Predator 224cc and Tillotson 224cc engines.

The EC 3rd Bearing Support with Heavy Duty Blower Housing is made to increase block rigidity and stabilize the flywheel and crankshaft.
The 3rd bearing support prevents the crankshaft from flexing to help prevent distortion from damaging the crank. We intergraded the 3rd bearing support into the heavy-duty blower housing on the outside of the flywheel. the support on the outermost part of the flywheel is far more effective at reducing crankshaft flex caused by the block and the flywheel than one placed underneath the flywheel.

Instalation:
1. Install rockers by Blue Loctite on the rocker shaft bolt. Thread the rocker shaft bolts into the cylinder head and torque to 20ft/lbs
2. Valve lash has to be set while cam is set on the heel. Use a feeler gauge to set valve lash to .005". Make sure the pushrod adjuster nut clears the valve cover. If nut does not clear the cover you will need to use a spacer or modify your valve cover. Torque the pushrod adjuster nuts to 125in/lbs
3. Start and run motor for 2 to 30mins. Run engine gently.
4. Remove the cylinder head cover and check lash. Repeat step 2 if the valve lash has changed
5. Repeat break in period until the valve lash consistrntly measures .005."

Our New Rotating Assembly Is Designed For The Predator 212 Hemi To Increase Displacement To 223cc

The Predator Hemi Has A Shorter Deck Height Than Most Other Honda-Based Clone Engines. Due To The Deck Height, It Was Difficult To Use Current Aftermarket Components With The 58mm Stroker Crank In This Block. Usually, Stroking The Engine Required Clearance Of The Rod, Cam, Crank, And Piston For Fitment. We Have Resolved These Issues With Our 58mm Stroker Kit For The Predator Hemi.

Kit Components:

Wildcat 223cc, 70mm Flat Top Piston- The Wildcat Piston Provides Clearance Between The Crank’s Counterweights and Piston Skirt. The Wildcat Piston Is Also Lighter Due To The Different Designs. The Piston Comes As A Complete Assembly With Rings, Wrist Pins, And Circlips.

EC Pinnacle Forged Rod- The Forged Rod Is Shorter Than Stock To Set The Flat Top Piston At Zero Deck Height (Some Variance May Be Expected with Mass-Produced Blocks.) Unlike Many Other Rods, The Dipper Doesn’t Interfere With The Cam Core, Making Installation Easier.

Wildcat 58mm Crankshaft- the Crankshaft Is the Same Used EC236R And The Wildcat 223 Engine. The Crankshaft Should Only Require Clearance Matching With The Camshaft, Depending On The Lobe Profile And The Compression Release. The Crankshaft Also Using The Honda / Clone Tapered Flywheel; The Hemi Flywheels Will Not Work. We Recommend Using Our SK200 Rev Wheel.

The Purpose Of This Kit Is To Offer More Displacement To Predator 212 Hemi For Classes That Are Limited To Predator Brand Engines.

Our New Rotating Assembly Is Designed For Ducar/ Tillotson 212E To Increase Displacement to 223cc.
Tillotson 212E And A Non Hemi Has A Taller Deck Height Than The Predator 212 Hemi. Due To he Deck Height Will Require A Slightly Longer Rod That The Other Ones We Use In Our Predator 212/223 Stroker Kit To Put The Piston Flush With the Deck.
Usually, Stroking The engine required clearance of the rod, cam, crank, and piston for fitment. We have resolved these issues with our 58mm stroker kit for the Ducar/Tillotson 212E Hemi.
This kit is made for the Ducar/Tillotson 212E Blocks and is not designed to fit the Tillotson 212R Engines.

Kit Includes:
Wildcat 223cc 70mm Flat Top Piston - The Wildcat Piston provides clearance between the cranks counterweights and the piston skirt. The Wildcat piston is also lighter due to the different designs. The piston comes as a complete assembly with rings, wrist pins, and circlips.

EC Pinnacle Forged Rod - The Forged rod is shorter than the stock to set the flat top piston at zero deck height (some variance may be expected with mass produced blocks) Unlike many other rods, the dipper doesn't interfere with the cam core, making installation easier.

Wildcat 58mm Crankshaft - The Crankshaft is the same used in EC 236R and the Wildcat 223 Engine. The crankshaft should only require clearance machining with the camshaft, depending on the lobe profile and the compression release. The crankshaft also using Honda/clone tapered flywheel: the flywheels will not work. We recommend using our SK200 Rev Wheel.

This 263cc kit is made of a 76mm hypereutectic piston (same material as the 72mm Tillotson Racing Piston), EC's Pinnacle Forged Connecting Rod, and 58mm Wildcat Ductile Iron Crankshaft.

In the world of automotive and motorcycle engine engineering, 250cc is a common denominator for performance engines. The bore and stroke are very common among a single cylinder, 2-cylinder, three-cylinder, and 4-cycle motorcycles. The increased bore sizes don't just add more displacement but increases compression and vacuum, allowing larger valves, ports, and camshafts with less adverse side effects, I.e., low-speed torque and responsiveness.

Whether in karting, motorcycle, or automotive performance, making 1hp per cubic inch is a respectable engine, 1.5hp per ci is often expert level, and 2hp ci is exceptional by few elite builders. All dynos are different and may reflect higher power per ci; however, you can divide your current power level by your displacement and then multiply by 16.06, which is the ci of the 263R kit for estimated theoretical power output.

For comparison, we should look at the differences in displacement among other small block engines.

The 76mm piston is very lightweight, which can help with the "balance" of the rotating assembly, improved acceleration, and increased durability. The piston journal's improved strength is that it is wider than the Tillotson 72mm piston and uses a longer 13mm wrist pin.

We measure the weight of common stock pistons assemblies (piston, rings, wrist pin, and clips) and a couple of market pistons of similar sizes to see how they compare to the 76mm piston assembly. The 76mm piston assembly weights 195g.

The New 76mm piston is 8mm larger than the 68mm piston and 6mm more than the typical flat top 212/223/224 piston that comes in the clone 196cc clone, but the 76mm assembly weighs 10-12g less. The 2.8335 Wiseco is 4mm smaller and only weighs 3g less, and the nearly equal-sized 2.985 piston weighs 13g more.

You will also gain inc compression, which can impact what fuel you run or possibly the crankshaft and cylinder head you choose.

A. The Dowel Pin Location And Size Are Different On A Non-Hemi Predator But Can be Easily Made To Work. We Recommend that Modified Engines With the Tillotson R-Series Reinforced Blocks.



The EC Evolution Performance cast Cylinder Head isn't just changing the game: it's rewriting the rules.

The EC Evo Head is a big valve non-Hemi Head with 33mm intake and 27mm exhaust with 5mm stems for the Honda GX 200 and many clones, including the Predator 212, Tillotson 196-212-225, wild cat 223, and Duncar Engines.

When EC Designed the Tillotson Blocks, The Goal was to increase the performance and durability of modified engines while lowering the build cost. The EC 236cc Engine kit was a manifestation of that goal, but it still lacked one area that was still lacked one area that was still relatively expensive. For racers to compete in 14.5ci open engine kart classes, billet heads were considered the best offered, whether it was stock or modified.

The Evo was to answer the cost of those cylinder heads, but it wasn't the only goal. The Evo allows you to use the same intake manifold, exhaust header, rocker arms, valve cover, valve springs, and retainers currently on the market for Honda, Predator, Tillotson, or Clone non-Hemi Heads. So not only are you not replacing those parts, but you now have more options for those components. Most billet heads offer only one ratio, which may limit your cam or spring choices.

There are also situations "Billet" heads are not permitted, and within minibike drag racing, there are "cast only" racing and records. These classes will often allow extensive modifications to those heads rather then allow billets. As we said, the EVO is here to rewrite the rules and change the game. The EVO is a cast head the rivals the performance of a billet head.

The New! EC 236R Racing Engine Stage 3 Kit with Tank Mount is designed to build your kart or mini bike racing engine.

We thought of what it would take to handle a 14.5ci open modified from the beginning of our development on the Tillotson Engine Program. Our new 236R is 236.15cc, or 14.41ci puts you very close to the mark and does it while being extremely budget-friendly. Our kit includes a partial short block allowing you to add your current clone or predator parts, racing carburetors, and other components. If you want to build a brand new engine, we have many add-ons to make a complete engine. Engine and Short Block do not come assembled.

72mm Tillotson Reinforced Block - This is the engine's core and allows most of the magic to happen. We designed these blocks to handle mild endurance racing engines for Tillotson's 225RS/T4 Class. We made the block thicker and more robust to reduce flex and distortion; this prevents power loss through crank flex and blow-by between the piston and cylinder. At 72mm bore, it is one of the largest bore block straight from the factory. Still, with our background in modifies, we couldn't pass the opportunity to build one of the best blocks for high horsepower applications.

Tillotson Racing Lightweight Hypereutectic Piston - This piston is advertised as a forged piston by other distributors; it is, in fact not a forged piston.
The piston is superior in performance and longevity over stock. Chinese cast pistons used in other engines and kits. The piston uses the latest technology and design utilizing a racing slipper skirt vs. a conventional barrel skirt design of other stock pistons. This piston uses an aluminum alloy with high silicon for a lower thermal expansion coefficient, allowing tighter tolerance. The low slipper skirt design allows more clearance in the rotating assembly for larger stroke crankshafts. We also made the compression height shorter by moving the pin's location and using a smaller diameter wrist pin. These improvements allowed the use of a longer rod while reducing weight in the rotating assembly.

58mm(2.283") Stroker Crankshaft - This is the first-ever 58mm stock crank for the clone market. The crankshaft is significant because it has only .017" less stroke than the billet cranks made in the aftermarket and, more importantly, at less than a quarter of the price. With our kit, you will build an entire short block for just the billet crank alone.

EC Forged Rod - EC Carburetors designed the original billet rod for Tillotson 225RS engines, using a 55mm stroker crankshaft. And we built the first billet rod to fit the Tillotson piston and a 56mm crank and are now the first to use our exclusive 58mm crankshaft. Our new EC Forged Rods are designed to allow more stroke with standard clone journal crankshafts and bigger camshafts. This rod is made in-house and is unique for our engine combination.

These components are the core of the 236R "U-Build-It" Kit. It comes with the hardware gaskets to build a complete short block minus the camshaft.
