PVL is known for making quality flywheels. This flywheel is dynamically balanced, and has been tested by PVL at 17,000RPM. The steel center hub adds durability to keep from damaging the taper. The center hub also has tapped holes for the use of a flywheel puller.
Performance Information
The PVL flywheel fin design allows it to move a very high volume of air. It is recommended that you leave only 1 of the blower housing recoil air intakes open. If more cooling is desired, then the tape can be removed. The engine will perform best when you have the right amount of cooling to keep the engine from reaching an excessive temperature.
Ignition Timing
The flywheel works with the standard Predator coil with a recommended coil gap of .038-.040". The running timing with a straight up key is 28 degrees and it is recommended to start with a running timing between 28 to 31 degrees.
Testing of the PVL Flywheel
PVL, the manufacturer, tested the flywheel at 17,000 rpms and an independent company in the USA tested the flywheel at 15,000 rpms for 60 minutes, both without failure.
These testing’s do not verify or guarantee the safety, suitability, use, or the fitness of this flywheel. Racing is dangerous and exploding parts can cause injury or death.
Note: This Flywheel uses stock coil! It will NOT work with the PVL Digital Coils (Briggs style)

RACE ONLY

The 6695 billet flywheel from ARC Racing has an ultra-low drag fin design that will greatly reduce air drag on your racing engine while still moving enough air for cooling. Less air drag on the flywheel means more power freed up throughout the power curve, especially on the top end. This flywheel is designed for oval track racing.

This flywheel will have the same basic setup as the 6625. Recommended timing for unrestricted engines is 34-36 degrees. Recommended timing for plate engines is 36-38 degrees. This flywheel also has a minimum coil gap of .030 as all our other flywheels do, meaning DO NOT set the gap closer than .030. However, we use much more gap than that. Our testing shows on most unrestricted and plate engines that a coil gap of .065-.075 works the best. The magnets in our flywheels are very strong, and opening up the coil gap will help reduce magnet drag as the magnet moves underneath the coil. This is yet another advantage to our flywheels that will help free up more power in these engines.

The 6695 flywheel has more power-making potential than any other approved flywheel on the market. Our test, as well as testing from other reputable companies, shows it will make around the same power with zero tape on the blower housing as the 6625 does with the blower housing fully taped.

Timing is 32 degrees BTDC with stock key. Flywheel weight is 3.4lb.

SK300 REV Wheel is a Billet Racing Flywheel for Honda/Clone Engines using the PVL Digital Ignition System

All billet aluminum flywheel with unique fin designs for low wind resistance and less loss of power design with a rare earth neodymium magnet. This new flywheel is designed to work with the PVL Digitally controlled ignition and will not work with stock analog coils. The PVL ignition produces a stronger spark and more consistent ignition timing than standard stock coils. Not only will it help improve performance, but it will also offer better tuning consistency for the engine.
