Valvetrain weight is crucial for valvetrain performance. Every gram equals almost 40rpms. Less weight not only allows more rpm but makes the valvetrain more reliable.

Stock Standard Lash Cap: 1.9-2.2g average
Thickness .880-Inch

Fits: Tillotson 212R, Wildcat 223, & Predator 212 Non-Hemi, and other 5mm valve stems.

Note: Ducar/Tillotson 212E Hemi Heads have 5.5mm valves tapered to 5mm for locks, retainers, and lash caps. These 5mm lash caps will work on those heads.
