The Tillotson 72mm or what is known as the 225 blocks and the Tillotson 76mm or 3" block does not have the front tank mounts for a traditional top plate linkage. the idea behind this is to distinguish the Tillotson racing engines from other industrial engine blocks. Without the tank mounts, the Tillotson engine gains a cleaner, more efficient cub appeal.
Our newly designed top plate allows you to mount a fuel pump to your Tillotson 72mm and 76mm blocks without ears. This top plate does not fit blocks with tank ears. This is the ideal setup for modified engines using aftermarket slides or diaphragm carburetors.
