The clone pulleys are "good enough" for me initially, but after I started building up my engine (header, carb, cam, rod, etc.) it started to break down. The chinese driven pulley would immediately downshift when I let off the throttle, creating difficult to control aggressive engine braking. This genuine comet pulley does not have that problem at all. Much better construction, and shifting/takeoff
