These are the same 1.2:1 ratio HD stamped steel rocker arms included with all of our Shredder heads. Comes with steel rocker studs, lash adjusters, locking nuts and our custom designed steel guide plate cut just for the Shredder head.
Formed from 0.095" steel, making them 37% thicker than standard clone rocker arms that are stamped from 0.060" thick steel.
These rocker arms are safe up to .380" valve lift, but the lower opening can be ground on the valve side (not pushrod side) from .350" to .400" total length and they will support up to .450" lift without binding.
Do not use WITHOUT lash caps.
Guide plate is cut for 3/16" diameter pushrods. 1/4" will not fit and you will have to open up the slots. The huge hollow aluminum pushrods should never be used with this guide plate.
Ratio is 1.2:1, so multiply your cam lobe lift by 1.2 to get your net lift at the valve.
Example: .308" x 1.2 = .369" lift with these rocker arms.
Use 5.260" pushrods for Predator 224 non-hemi 136.5mm deck height block and stock 36.6mm tall lifters, with Shredder head.
Use 5.200" pushrods for Predator 212 non-hemi 135.5mm deck height block and stock 34.8mm tall lifters, with Shredder head.
Use 5.200" pushrods for Predator 212 hemi 135mm deck height block and stock 34.8mm tall lifters with Shredder head.
Do not use without lash caps.
